In the 21st century years are eons

The first associations that come to my mind when I hear or read about Warsaw are the (in)famous Pact, the ghetto uprising, and the siege during the invasion of Poland at the outset of World War II. With a little concentration effort, I can associate Poland with, quite obviously, Karol Wojtyła, Lech Wałęsa, General Jaruzelski, Frédéric Chopin, and Nicolaus Copernicus.
